Object-Oriented Programming

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is a software program that uses “objects” which may contain data in the form of fields and code in the form of procedures to design software. These objects are data fields that have unique attributes or behaviors. OOP models help in mapping real-world problems with software solutions that address them. OOP assists programmers in hiding complex data operations within objects termed as encapsulation, create new objects leveraging existing ones called inheritance, and let objects behave in multiple ways based on situation known as polymorphism.
