Data-Driven Testing

Data-driven testing (DDT) is a software testing method where test scripts or test data are stored in table format in external sources such as databases, spreadsheets, or XML files. It is also called table-driven testing or parameterized testing. This approach allows testers to feed multiple sets of data into a single test case, facilitating the automation of tests in a scalable and efficient manner. This approach is helpful to test the behavior of application under varying conditions using less code.
