User story

A simple description of a feature that is told from the perspective of a user who wants to have a new feature or capability in the system is called a user story. The user stories are used in agile software development to capture the user requirements in a simple and understandable format. It helps the development team to stay focused on the user needs and value the feature brings ultimately fulfilling the specific user goals.
